23rd March, 1940 was a momentous occasion when the Muslims of the Sub-Continent decided to establish a separate homeland to free themselves from the shackles of oppression and slavery of the hindutva mindset.
Today, we pay tribute to the Father of the Nation and all the leaders of the Independence Movement who united Muslims of British India and struggled for creation of a free and independent Muslim State. The struggle culminated in the emergence of Pakistan on the map of the World on 14th August, 1947.
While commemorating this day, we need to adhere to the principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline given by Quid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Our vision is to transform Pakistan into a truly democratic welfare State, on the model of Riyasat-e-Madina.
Our great nation has successfully overcome challenges of immense magnitude in past through unity and resilience. Today, we need to remain strong to face the pandemic that has engulfed the entire World. InshaAllah, we will succeed in these testing times.
On this day, we also express solidarity with the innocent people of IIOJK who have been subjected to worst form of state oppression by Indian security forces. We salute their courage and will continue to support them morally, politically and diplomatically for realization of their right to self-determination under relevant UNSC Resolutions.
Today, let us renew our commitment to make
Pakistan a humane, progressive and prosperous state akin to Riasat-e-Madina
based on rule of law, meritocracy, egalitarianism and compassion. May Almighty
Allah grant us strength to remain steadfast during all testing times.
Pakistan-Paindabad
23 مارچ 1940 ایک تاریخی موقع تھا جب برصغیر کے مسلمانوں نے اپنے آپ کو ہندوتوا ذہنیت کے جبر اور غلامی کے شکنجوں سے آزاد کرنے کے لئے ایک علیحدہ وطن کے قیام کا فیصلہ کیا۔آج ہم بابائے قوم اور تحریک آزادی کے ان تمام رہنماؤں کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہیں جنہوں نےہندوستان کے مسلمانوں کو متحد کیا اور ایک آزاد مسلم ریاست کے قیام کے لئے جدوجہد کی۔ اس جدوجہد کے نتیجہ میں 14 اگست 1947ء کو دنیا کے نقشے پر پاکستان معرض وجود میں آیا۔اس دن کو مناتے ہوئے ہمیں قائداعظم محمد علی جناح کی جانب سے وضع کیے گئے ”اتحاد، ایمان اور تنظیم” کے اصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہونے کی ضرورت ہے۔ ہمارا وژن پاکستان کو ریاست مدینہ کی طرز پر ایک حقیقی جمہوری فلاحی ریاست میں تبدیل کرنا ہے۔ ہماری عظیم قوم نے ماضی میں اتحاد اور بھرپور عزم کے ذریعے کٹھن چیلنجوں پر کامیابی کے ساتھ قابو پایا ہے، آج ہمیں اس وباء کا سامنا کرنے کے لئے مضبوط رہنے کی ضرورت ہے جس نے پوری دنیا کو اپنی لپیٹ میں لے رکھا ہے، انشاءﷲ ہم آزمائش کی اس گھڑی میں بھی سرخرو ہوں گے۔اس دن ہم بھارتی مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر کے معصوم لوگوں سے بھی اظہار یکجہتی کرتے ہیں جنہیں بھارتی سیکیورٹی فورسز کی جانب سے بدترین ریاستی جبر کا سامنا ہے، ہم ان کی جرأت و ہمت کو سلام پیش کرتے ہیں ۔ ہم اقوام متحدہ کی سلامتی کونسل کی متعلقہ قراردادوں کے مطابق حق خودارادیت کے حصول کے لئے کشمیری عوام کی اخلاقی، سیاسی اور سفارتی حمایت جاری رکھیں گے۔ آئیے، آج ہم پاکستان کو ریاست مدینہ کی طرز پر قانون کی حکمرانی، میرٹ کی بالادستی، برابری اور رحمدلی پر مبنی انسان دوست، ترقی پسند اور خوشحال ریاست بنانے کے اپنے عزم کی تجدید کریں۔ ﷲ تعالٰی ہمیں تمام آزمائشوں کے دوران ثابت قدم رہنے کی توفیق عطاء فرمائے
