On this Pakistan Day, we pay homage to the founding fathers of Pakistan whose services and sacrifices led to the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent. Today, we reaffirm our resolve to make Pakistan an economically stronger and prosperous country.
On this historic day, we vow to continue our struggle to make our society humane, inclusive and tolerant to other minorities residing in Pakistan. We also pledge to uphold democratic values, rule of law and the Islamic way of life in our country as envisioned by our founding fathers.
On this day, we must also remember our Kashmiri brethren who have been subjugated for over seven decades by the Indian Security Forces. They have been subjected to the worst form of repression and state-sponsored terrorism. We pledge our commitment to continue to support Kashmiris in their just struggle for their right to self-determination. The world must take notice of blatant human rights violations being committed by India in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The key to durable peace in South Asia is resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
Today, we also salute our heroes, particularly the health workers and other concerned agencies, who played a great role in containing COVID-19 and providing health care to the people in the hour of need. We laud our health professionals for their untiring efforts who selflessly served the nation during the crisis. I urge my fellow countrymen to follow all SOPs concerning COVID-19 so as to overcome the third wave of the pandemic. I am sure that with unity, faith and discipline we can overcome any challenge that comes our way. May Allah be with us all.

یوم ِپاکستان کے موقع پر ، ہم بانیانِ پاکستان کو خراج عقیدت پیش کرتے ہیں جن کی خدمات اور قربانیوں سے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کے لئے ایک علیحدہ وطن کا قیام ممکن ہوا۔ آج ہم پاکستان کو ایک معاشی طور پر مضبوط اور خوشحال ملک بنانے کے اپنے عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں۔
اس تاریخی دن پر ، ہم اپنے معاشرے کو پاکستان میں بسنے والی اقلیتوں کے لئے انسانیت دوست، جامع اور روادار بنانے کی جدوجہد جاری رکھنے کا عہدکرتے ہیں۔ ہم اپنے بانیان وطن کی بصیرت کے مطابق اپنے ملک میں جمہوری اقدار ، قانون کی حکمرانی اور اسلامی طرز ِزندگی کو برقرار رکھنے کا بھی عہد کرتے ہیں۔
اس دن ہمیں اپنے کشمیری بھائیوں کو بھی یاد رکھنا چاہئے جنہیں ہندوستانی سیکیورٹی فورسز نے سات دہائیوں سے محکوم بنا رکھا ہے۔ انہیں بدترین جبر اور ریاستی دہشت گردی کا نشانہ بنایا گیا ہے۔ ہم اپنے کشمیریوں بھائیوں کے حق خود ارادیت کی منصفانہ جدوجہد میں ان کی حمایت جاری رکھنے کا عہد کرتے ہیں۔ غیر قانونی طور پر مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں بھارت کی طرف سے انسانی حقوق کی پامالیوں کا دنیا کو نوٹس لینا چاہئے۔ جنوبی ایشیاءمیں پائیدار امن کےلیے جموں و کشمیر کے تنازعہ کا سلامتی کونسل کی متعلقہ قراردادوں کے مطابق حل کلیدی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔
آج ہم اپنے ہیروز خصوصا ً صحت کے شعبے سے وابستہ کارکنان اور دیگر متعلقہ اداروں کو بھی سلام پیش کرتے ہیں ، جنہوں نے COVID-19 کے پھیلاؤ کو روکنے کیلئے اہم کردار ادا کیا اور اس مشکل وقت میں لوگوں کو علاج فراہم کرنے میں بڑا کردار ادا کیا۔ ہم اپنے شعبہ صحت کے پروفیشنلز کی انتھک کوششوں کو سراہتے ہیں جنہوں نے اس بحران کے دوران قوم کی بے لوث خدمت کی۔ میں اپنے ہم وطنوں سے گزارش کرتا ہوں کہ کورونا سے متعلق تمام احتیاطی تدابیر پر عمل کریں تاکہ کورونا کی تیسری لہر پر قابو پایا جاسکے۔ مجھے یقین ہے کہ اتحاد ، ایمان اورتنظیم کی مدد سے ہم اپنی راہ میں آنے والے کسی بھی چیلنج پر قابو پا سکتے ہیں۔ اللہ ہم سب کا حامی و ناصر ہو۔
