The Ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg, Zaheer A. Janjua, held the 3rd monthly Khuli Katchery in virtual format with Pakistani diaspora in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Pakistan, Brussels, in line with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, to maintain close engagement with Pakistani diaspora and to provide seamless services.
The virtual interaction was attended by diaspora members from different walks of life, including academia, professionals, business, social services and media.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Janjua informed the participants that the suggestions and inputs received from the community members during the previous two Khuli Katchery sessions, have been implemented. He underlined that the Embassy will continue to remain closely engaged with the community to extend best possible services and incorporate their inputs to improve service delivery.
The Ambassador appreciated the community members for participating in the webinar on Roshan Digital Account on 6th March 2021, and urged them to take full benefits of the scheme. The Ambassador also thanked the diaspora for the record increase in flow of remittances and hoped that this trend would continue in future.
In order to overcome the challenges posed by the 3rd wave of COVID-19, the Ambassador urged the community members to exercise extreme caution and comply with the instructions of the Belgium and Luxembourg governments. He also encouraged them to avoid all unnecessary travel, and get vaccinated as soon as their turn comes up.
The community members appreciated the Embassy’s outreach efforts and provision of efficient consular services.

اس تقریب کا اہتمام سفارتخانہ پاکستان، برسلز نے وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے وژن کی مناسبت سے کیا ، تاکہ بیرونِ ملک مقیم پاکستانی کمیونیٹی کے ساتھ قریبی رابطے کو برقرار رکھا جا سکے اور ان کو بلا تعتل خدمات کی فراہمی ممکن بنائی جا سکے۔
ورچوئل کچہری میں مختلف شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والے کمیونٹی ممبران نے شرکت کی، جن میں اکیڈمیا، پیشہ ور افراد، کاروبار، سماجی خدمات اور میڈیا کے نمائندے شامل ہوئے۔
اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سفیر ِ پاکستان نے شرکاء کو آگاہ کیا کہ گذشتہ کھلی کچہری کے دوران کمیونٹی ممبران سے حاصل کردہ تجاویز اور آراء پر عمل درآمد کر دیا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ سفارت خانہ خدمات کی فراہمی بہتر بنانے کے لئے کمیونٹی کے ساتھ قریبی تعلقات کو فروغ دیتا رہے گا تاکہ کمیونٹی کی تجاویز کے ذریعے خدمات کی فراہمی مزید بہتر بنا ئی جا سکے۔
سفیرِ پاکستان نے 6 مارچ 2021 کو روشن ڈیجیٹل اکاؤنٹ پر منعقدہ ویبنار میں شرکت کرنے پر کمیونٹی کے ممبروں کی تعریف کی، اور انہیں اسکیم سے بھرپور فائدہ اٹھانے کی تاکید کی۔ سفیر ِ پاکستان نے ترسیلات زر کے بہاؤ میں ریکارڈ اضافے پر شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور امید ظاہر کی کہ یہ رجحان آئندہ بھی جاری رہے گا۔
کرونا وبا کی تیسری لہر سے درپیش چیلنجوں پر قابو پانے کے لئے، سفیر ِ پاکستان نے کمیونٹی ممبران پر ذور دیا کہ وہ انتہائی احتیاط برتیں اور بیلجیم اور لکسمبرگ کے حکومتوں کی ہدایات پر مکمل عمل کریں۔ انہوں نے کمیونٹی کو غیر ضروری سفر سے بچنے اور بروقت کرونا حفاظتی ٹیکے لگانے کی ترغیب دی۔
کمیونٹی ممبران نے سفارتخانے کی کوششوں اور موثر قونصلر خدمات کی فراہمی کو سراہا۔
