The Embassy of Pakistan, Brussels, organized the 14th Khuli Katchery in a virtual format with the Pakistani diaspora in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Mr. Zaheer A Janjua, briefed the participants about the continued efforts of the Mission to provide efficient and seamless services to the community.

Referring to the recent high-level engagements in Brussels, including the visit by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), the Ambassador underscored that the visit contributed to further strengthening of Pakistan’s bilateral relations with Belgium, the EU and NATO. He highlighted that the host authorities expressed gratitude for the key role played by Pakistan in evacuation operations from Afghanistan.

The Ambassador appreciated diaspora’s active participation to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day on 5th Faburary. He Emphasised that Paksitan will continue to extend political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for achieving their right to self determination guaranteed by the UN Security Council. He encouraged the community members to be the voice of innocent Kashmiris across the world and expose Indian atrocities in Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to trigger a strong international response.

The Ambassador expressed satisfaction on the revised policy of the government for inbound passengers with effect from February 24, 2022, particularly the abolition of pre-boarding negative PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated inbound travellers and exemption from mandatory vaccination for passengers between 12-18 years till March 31, 2022.  He, however, encouraged the community members to exercise due caution.

The Ambassador announced that due to the relaxation of COVID-19 restrictions by the local authorities, the National Day ceremony on 23rd March will be held physically at the Chancery. He invited the community members to participate in the ceremony with their family members. 

The monthly interaction with the Pakistani diaspora was organized in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and in line with Embassy’s efforts to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery to the Pakistani diaspora.

The virtual interaction was attended by diaspora members from different walks of life. The community members conveyed their complete satisfaction with the services provided by the Embassy. They praised the ease of access and the forthcoming attitude of the Embassy to resolve the problems faced by the members of the Pakistani community in Belgium and Luxembourg.

یورپی یونین ، بیلجیم اور لکسمبرگ میں پاکستان کے سفیر جناب ظہیر اے جنجوعہ نے   بیلجئم  اور لکسمبرگ میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کے لئے  چودھویں  ماہانہ آن لائن  کھلی کچہری کا انعقاد کیا۔

اپنی گفتگو کے دوران سفیرِ پاکستان  نے کمیونٹی کو موثر کونسلر خدمات فراہم کرنے کی مسلسل کوششوں سے آگاہ کیا۔

چیف آف آرمی سٹاف (COAS) کے دورے سمیت برسلز میں حالیہ اعلیٰ سطحی مصروفیات کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے سفیر نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ ان دوروں نے بیلجیئم، یورپی یونین اور نیٹو کے ساتھ پاکستان کے دوطرفہ تعلقات کو مزید مضبوط بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا  ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید  روشنی ڈالی کہ میزبان حکام نے افغانستان سے انخلاء کی کارروائیوں میں پاکستان کے کلیدی کردار کو سراہا۔

یوم یکجہتی کشمیر کے حوالے سے کی جانے والی کوششوں کے بارے میں شرکاء کو بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے سفیر پاکستان نے سفارتخانے کی جانب سے کی جانے والی مختلف سرگرمیوں کی وضاحت کی جس میں اہم اداروں، بااثر رائے سازوں اور میڈیا کے ساتھ مصروفیات شامل ہیں تاکہ بھارتی قابض افواج کی جانب سے مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں انسانی حقوق کی مسلسل خلاف ورزیوں کو اجاگر کیا جا سکے۔

سفیر ِ پاکستان نے 24 فروری 2022 سے  ملک میں آنے والے مسافروں کے لیے حکومت کی نظرثانی شدہ پالیسی پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا، خاص طور پر مکمل طور پر ویکسین لگو کر جانے والے مسافروں کے لیے پری بورڈنگ منفی پی سی آر ٹیسٹ کی شرط کے خاتمے اور 12 سے 18 سال کے درمیان کے مسافروں کے لیے لازمی ویکسینیشن سے 31 مارچ   2022تک چھوٹ کے اقدامات پر مزید اطمنان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے  کمیونٹی ممبران کی حوصلہ افزائی کی کہ   وہ  احتیاطی تدابیر  پر عمل  جاری رکھیں ۔

سفیرِ پاکستان نے اعلان کیا کہ مقامی حکام کی جانب سے COVID-19 کی پابندیوں میں نرمی کی وجہ سے 23 مارچ کو  یومِ پاکستان  کی تقریب چانسری میں منعقد کی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے کمیونٹی کے افراد کو تقریب میں شرکت کی دعوت دی۔

تقریب کا انعقاد وزیراعظم عمران خان کے بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں سے قریبی رابطے برقرار رکھنے کے  وژن کے مطابق کیا گیا تھا تاکہ  بیرونِ ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کو خدمات تک فعال انداز میں رسائی حاصل ہو۔

آن لائن کھلی کچہری  میں مختلف شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد  نے شرکت کی۔   کمیونٹی  ممبران نے سفارت خانے  کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔
