The Ambassador of Pakistan to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, Mr. Zaheer A. Janjua, held the 12th monthly Khuli Katchery in virtual format with Pakistani diaspora in Belgium and Luxembourg on December 30.
During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed greetings on the occasion of Christmas, Jinnah Day and New Year to the participants and hoped that the new year would be a harbinger of peace and happiness for all Pakistanis as well as the global community.
Talking about the Government’s initiatives, Ambassador Janjua said that the establishment of tax facilitation points, online power of attorney attestation system, Rosh Digital Account, Roshan Apna Ghar scheme, overseas facilitation desks and Foreign Ministers Portal would facilitate overseas Pakistanis in a big way.
Ambassador Janjua also briefed on the recent high-level engagements in Brussels, including the visits by the Foreign Minister, Governor Punjab, President AJK and Secretary Commerce. He underscored that these visits contributed to further strengthening of Pakistan’s bilateral relations with Belgium, the EU and NATO. He highlighted that the host authorities greatly appreciated the key role played by Pakistan in their evacuation operations from Afghanistan.
In order to overcome the challenges posed by the current spike in COVID-19 infections, the Ambassador emphasized that precaution was better than cure. He urged the community members to exercise caution and comply with local regulations.
The monthly interaction with the Pakistani diaspora was organized in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and in line with Embassy’s efforts to ensure efficient and smooth service delivery to the Pakistani diaspora.
The virtual interaction was attended by community members from different walks of life, who conveyed satisfaction with the services provided by the Embassy. They particularly praised the forthcoming attitude of the Embassy staff to resolve problems faced by the Pakistani diaspora living in Belgium and Luxembourg.

یوروپی یونین ، بیلجیئم اور لکسمبرگ میں پاکستان کے سفیر ظہیر اے جنجوعہ نے بیلجیم اور لکسمبرگ میں مقیم پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے ساتھ 12 ویں آن لائن کھلی کچہری کا انعقاد کیا۔
ملاقات کے دوران سفیر نے شرکاء کو کرسمس، یوم جناح اور نئے سال کے موقع پر مبارکباد پیش کی اور امید ظاہر کی کہ نیا سال تمام پاکستانیوں کے ساتھ ساتھ عالمی برادری کے لیے بھی امن اور خوشی کا پیغام لائے گا۔
حکومتی اقدامات کے بارے میں بات کرتے ہوئے سفیر جنجوعہ نے کہا کہ ٹیکس سہولت پوائنٹس کا قیام، آن لائن پاور آف اٹارنی اٹیسٹیشن سسٹم، روش ڈیجیٹل اکاؤنٹ، روشن اپنا گھر سکیم، اوورسیز فیسیلیٹیشن ڈیسک اور فارن منسٹرز پورٹل سمندر پار پاکستانیوں کو بڑے پیمانے پر سہولت فراہم کریں گے۔
سفیر جنجوعہ نے برسلز میں حالیہ اعلیٰ سطحی مصروفیات بشمول وزیر خارجہ، گورنر پنجاب، صدر آزاد کشمیر اور سیکرٹری کامرس کے دوروں کے بارے میں بھی آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ ان دوروں نے بیلجیئم، یورپی یونین اور نیٹو کے ساتھ پاکستان کے دوطرفہ تعلقات کو مزید مضبوط بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے روشنی ڈالی کہ میزبان حکام نے افغانستان سے انخلاء کی کارروائیوں میں پاکستان کے کلیدی کردار کو سراہا۔
کرونا کی نئی لہر پر قابو پانے کے لیے، سفیر نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ احتیاط علاج سے بہتر ہے۔ انہوں نے کمیونٹی ممبران پر زور دیا کہ وہ احتیاط برتیں اور مقامی ضابطوں کی پابندی کریں۔
تقریب کا انعقاد وزیراعظم عمران خان کے بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں سے قریبی رابطے برقرار رکھنے کے وژن کے مطابق کیا گیا تھا تاکہ بیرونِ ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کو خدمات تک فعال انداز میں رسائی حاصل ہو۔
آن لائن کھلی کچہری میں مختلف شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد نے شرکت کی۔ کمیونٹی ممبران نے سفارت خانے کی کوششوں کو سراہا۔
