The Embassy of Pakistan, Brussels, organized the 9th Khuli Katchery in a virtual format with the Pakistani diaspora in Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Ambassador of Pakistan to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Mr. Zaheer A Janjua, briefed the participants about the continued efforts of the Mission to provide efficient and seamless services to the community.
Referring to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address at the UN, the Ambassador underscored that the Prime Minister strongly conveyed Pakistan’s perspective on important global and regional issues, including COVID 19, Climate Change, Islamophobia, Illicit Financial flows, IIOJK and Afghanistan. The Ambassador also highlighted Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s extensive interactions with world leaders including the EU High Representative Mr. Josep Borrell and the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ms. Sophie Wilmes.
Ambassador Janjua also apprised the participants about Government’s recent initiatives to facilitate the Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs). He explained that the State Bank of Pakistan has launched ‘Roshan Apna Ghar’ Scheme for non-resident Pakistanis for acquisition of residential and commercial properties in the country.
Recalling participation of the Pakistani Cycling Squad at the UCI World Road Cycling Championships held in Belgium, the Ambassador underscored that the Pakistani men and women cyclists have contributed in projecting positive image of the country. He also lauded Pakistani women cyclists for the first ever participation at any international cycling event.
The monthly interaction with the Pakistani diaspora was organized in accordance with the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and in line with the Embassy’s efforts to serve the Pakistani diaspora in a befitting manner.
The virtual interaction was attended by diaspora members from different walks of life. The community members conveyed their complete satisfaction with the services provided by the Embassy. They particularly praised the easy access to the officials and their forthcoming attitude to resolve the problems faced by the members of the Pakistani community in Belgium and Luxembourg.

یورپی یونین ، بیلجیم اور لکسمبرگ میں پاکستان کے سفیر جناب ظہیر اے جنجوعہ نے بیلجئم اور لکسمبرگ میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کے لئے نویں ماہانہ آن لائن کھلی کچہری کا انعقاد کیا۔
اپنی گفتگو کے دوران سفیرِ پاکستان نے کمیونٹی کو موثر کونسلر خدمات فراہم کرنے کی مسلسل کوششوں سے آگاہ کیا۔
اقوام متحدہ میں وزیر اعظم عمران خان کے خطاب کا حوالہ دیتے ہوئے، سفیرِ پاکستان نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ وزیراعظم نے اہم عالمی اور علاقائی چیلنجز بشمول COVID 19 ، موسمیاتی تبدیلی ، اسلاموفوبیا ، غیر قانونی مالیاتی بہاؤ ، کشمیر پر بھارتی غیر قانونی قبضہ اور افغانستان کے بارے میں پاکستان کا نقطہ نظر بیان کیا۔
سفیرِ پاکستان نے اقوام متحدہ میں حالیہ اعلیٰ سطحی مصروفیات کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیر خارجہ شاہ محمود قریشی نے متعد د عالمی رہنماؤں بشمول یورپی یونین کے اعلی نمائندے جناب جوزف بوریل اور بیلجیئم کی نائب وزیرِاعظم اور وزیر خارجہ محترمہ صوفی ولیمز کے ساتھ ملاقات میں باہمی تعاون کے فروغ کے حوالے سے گفتگو کی۔
سفیرِ پاکستان نے شرکاء کو دیارِ غیر میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کی سہولت کے لیے حکومت کے حالیہ اقدامات سے بھی آگاہ کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان نے غیر رہائشی پاکستانیوں ((Non Resident Pakistanis کے لیے ملک میں رہائشی اور تجارتی املاک کے حصول کے لیے ’روشن اپنا گھر‘ سکیم شروع کی ہے۔
بیلجیئم میں منعقدہ یو سی آئی ورلڈ روڈ سائیکلنگ چیمپئن شپ میں پاکستانی سائیکلنگ اسکواڈ کی شرکت کے حوالے سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سفیرِ پاکستان نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ پاکستانی مرد اور خواتین سائیکل سواروں نے ملک کا مثبت امیج پیش کرنے میں اپنا کردار ادا کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے کسی بھی بین الاقوامی سائیکلنگ ایونٹ میں پہلی بار شرکت کرنے پر پاکستانی خواتین سائیکل سواروں کی تعریف کی۔
تقریب کا انعقاد وزیراعظم عمران خان کے بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں سے قریبی رابطے برقرار رکھنے کے وژن کے مطابق کیا گیا تھا تاکہ بیرونِ ملک مقیم پاکستانیوں کو خدمات تک فعال انداز میں رسائی حاصل ہو۔
آن لائن گفتگو میں مختلف شعبہ ہائے زندگی سے تعلق رکھنے والے افراد نے شرکت کی۔ کمیونٹی ممبران نے سفارتخانہ کی فراہم کردہ خدمات پر مکمل اطمینان کا اظہار کیا۔ انہوں نے خاص طور پر بلجیم اور لکسمبرگ میں پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے ارکان کو درپیش مسائل کے حل کے لیے عہدیداروں تک آسان رسائی اور ان کے رویے کی تعریف کی۔
